Completed in 2014, the Coca-Cola PET Plant in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia was the first Coca-Cola facility in the country to bottle products in PET-plastic containers. The plant has a capacity of 40,000 bottles per hour and is located in the heart of the city.

Due to space restrictions, the plant was designed with a vertical layout, which posed additional engineering and construction challenges. However, the team was able to overcome these challenges and complete the project in just two years.
