About Project

The new Indian embassy in Ethiopia, completed in 2019, is a state-of-the-art diplomatic complex that includes a chancery, consular building, staff residences, multipurpose hall, service quarters, and heritage building. The chancery façade is made of ductile concrete, a strong and durable material that is also aesthetically pleasing and features a number of Indian architectural elements. The consular office, staff residence, and multi-purpose hall are all designed with a mix of modern and traditional Indian touch. The heritage building is a traditional building that was renovated and converted into a museum and cultural center.

The Embassy of India – Head of Mission Residence, also completed in 2019, is a construction project for the Indian Embassy in Ethiopia. The project consisted of building a new ambassador’s residence and service quarters. The residence was designed to meet the Embassy’s needs and provide a comfortable and secure home for the Ambassador of India to Ethiopia. High-quality materials and construction techniques were used to build the residence. It was also designed to be sustainable and environmentally friendly.
