The National Palace in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, recently underwent a significant renovation project focused on Block B – Zewditu Court Hertige Buildings. Completed in May 2024, the project aimed to revitalize these historic structures and transform them into a vibrant center for the arts and cultural experiences. Elmi Construction played a pivotal role in delivering this project, leveraging their expertise in renovation and construction.
The renovated Block B buildings, now known as House of Culture, will serve as a multifaceted space dedicated to showcasing Ethiopia’s rich artistic heritage. Visitors can explore galleries featuring various art forms, delve into history at the newly established library, or immerse themselves in multimedia experiences at the audio and video gallery. Additionally, the project incorporated recreational areas, both indoors and outdoors, fostering a space for leisure and community engagement within the palace grounds.
